Steer clear of Furama Bukit Bintang - bad hotel
I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions over the last 5 years.
This time it was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had in staying at a hotel.
The front desk service is shocking. They are there to greet and help guests. They don’t.
The room was dated.
The shower was blocked and all the water just overflowed in to the whole of the bathroom. Disgusting.
The sink was blocked. Disgusting,
The two TV’s in the room didn’t work. Poor.
There was no room service on one of the days. I asked the guy who was cleaning the room next door if he was going to be cleaning my room. He said he was.
When I came back to the room a couple of hours later the room was not cleaned, so I asked the guy who was a few rooms away whether he was going to be cleaning the room. He said it was not on his list - if I wanted it cleaning I should go to reception to request it.
I went to reception and the guy there (who needs some training in customer service) said that he would get in to it straight away and get it sorted for me.
When I got back 3 hours later the room was not cleaned. I had to go down again to reception and the guy just completely blanked me. I asked to speak to the Duty Manager who didn’t seem a bit interested.
I am in Kuala Lumpur for 18 nights and it was my intention to extend my stay after these first 4 nights.
However, after the issues I’d had and the appalling customer service I booked elsewhere in the same area.
I would strongly NOT recommend this hotel.
