Salamanca was very interesting with its cathedrals and town square. I should have stayed longer. Note that restaurants do not open until 8pm and it is impossible to find a coffee shop open before 8am. Tourist sites all open at 10am.

Salamanca is a beautiful city. With a lot of history, a very special architecture, a lot to see, visit, learn about. Lots of young people because it is a university city, therefore it is a very vibrant city. We feel very safe and comfortable.

Salamance's walled section of the old city had a great college campus vibe with all the students, a nice shopping section, many sights and great dining options.

"Wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. Incredible views of the Cathedral and University. Staff were brilliant and a special mention to the gentleman on reception who drove us to the train station on his way home because of temporary issues with the local taxi service. Thank you!"
"Extraordinario hotel para parada en Salamanca, muy buena ubicacion walking distance del centro historico, estacionamiento para el auto, staff muy amable, muy buena habitacion. Lo recomiendo 100%."
"Excellent hotel on all fronts.
Location is amazing, right smack bang in the middle of the old town. Staff were super helpful and very proactive in helping us with luggage, onward travel arrangements and amenities.
Breakfast buffet is good, with lots of Spanish options fresh seasonal fruit and also more traditional breakfast fare.
I do note that there was a small issue in our room that caused some inconvenience, but it was rectified quickly and professionally."
