It was a great stay.
We gave the Wilmington Inn a 5 star rating due to the room being clean and comfortable. Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and easy to deal with. The hotel is walking distance to nice restaurants. We felt safe at the location. That has not always been the case in some hotels we have stayed.

The hotel works great for our purposes. I do wish that the room would be aired out before arrival since it is a bit off-putting when you walk into a musty smelling room. This was cleared up by running the air conditioner but it would be much more pleasant to arrive to a clean smelling room. That is my only true complaint about this hotel.

Good value for price. Not the Ritz, but clean, plus bed & sheets were cozy. Two sinks plus fridge & microwave were handy. Great location, especially if travelling with kids. Superb playground & splashpad seconds away, nearby shopping options (5 or so mins away). Close to public library. Quiet and no sleazy people loitering. Staff were friendly & helpful.
