Possibly the cutest and most quaint little town you will ever see. In some ways beats Positano and Amalfi. A lot of steps up and down to tour the town. Tour the lake by Ferry for $ 15 euro all in for the day - lots of Ferries.

During the wintertime, many shops, restaurants, and tours are closed on week days. However, we still enjoyed nice walks and the relaxing atmosphere.

Be ready for steep hill climbing throughout the city. It's what makes the views so beautiful!

The Lake Como region was spectacular. Bellagio was a bit crowded. Quick taxi service was scarce. The terrain is hilly. But, Bellagio was beautiful. Getting to different locations along the lake from Bellagio was easy, either by ferry, water taxi, etc

Bellagio is an extremely popular place and as such it gets very crowded.
"Beautiful condo/apartment, right off the water near pier 2 for the ferry. Slept 4 people comfortably and was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, as well as the ferry which was a short trip to Varenna, Tremezzo, San Giovanni, etc. I choose this specifically because I was traveling with a type 1 diabetic and it had afforded all the conveniences that were needed, including small fridge, electric stove, dishes etc, and a small market nearby. Hosts were very accommodating and communicative and made our trip easy and fantastic!"
"We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4, with 2 young children. The room was clean, beautiful and spacious. About 25-minute walk to the Bellagio town. There was car parking included in a nearby carpark. A tasty breakfast was included (however, note that breakfast was only from 8am so if you are an early riser you may have to miss this).
There was no iron or kitchen facilities in the room, but a kettle and bar fridge were available.
There were not many restaurants nearby open after 7-8pm (would recommend getting dinner in town prior to coming back to the hotel in the evening if possible).
Overall it was a convenient and wonderful stay. "
"Hotel Centrale was absolutely perfect—so quaint and full of charm, right in the heart of Bellagio. We had the best time ever staying here! The service was amazing from start to finish, and the breakfast each morning was spectacular—served with a beautiful view of the lake. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from all the best restaurants, shops, and the waterfront.
A special thank you to Michele, who was incredibly thoughtful and kind. He shared some wonderful history about the hotel and made our entire experience feel so personal and special. The hotel is still run by his family, and you can truly feel the love and care they put into everything. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home, and we’re already dreaming about coming back."
