The truth is that I had never been in a hotel so neglected and dirty... to start with it had an ugly spot: the bathroom door did not lock... there was someone's hair on the sheets... the sofa was very dirty and the pillows too... it was a terrible room.

Dirtiest place I’ve had the misfortune to stay. In order to check in at 530pm I had to wake up the person working the desk, then wake him up the next morning to check out.

Rundown dirty unsafe
I knew it would be an older place, but it was definitely rundown -broken things. felt very unsafe and dirty. Never took my shoes off as I walked around. Slept with my own quilts over the bed. The door didn’t close all the way and hotel latch was loose and wiggly. I pushed whatever furniture I could find against the door -Felt very unsafe and dirty.
