I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Midtown, Houston, while attending a conference, and I can't recommend it enough! One of the standout features is the abundance of amenities. The common areas are spacious and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals if you're looking to save a bit on dining out. There's also a cozy lounge area with plenty of seating, ideal for unwinding after a long day at the conference. The hostel offers free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable—crucial for catching up on work and staying connected. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which included a variety of options to start the day off right. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations for local attractions. The location in Midtown is another huge plus. It's a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of dining and entertainment options within walking distance. This was a solo trip to Houston, a beautiful city, for my birthday. While i was on my flight to Houston, i decided to stay at a hostel. I looked at a couple facilities but Mycrib was affordable and appeared to be a safe, clean, place to stay. My stay was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and cool to hang out with. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any small group or solo travelers.

Enjoyable home hostel
I enjoyed my stay at the hostel, although they changed my bed and moved my things without authorization. The couple was friendly, they lent me a bicycle, as it was a bit far to walk to some places.

Highly recommend this place. Cathy the host was great! She communicated clearly. 15 min walk from Greyhound station. Area is quiet and I felt safe. Lock on bedroom door and good size locker for everyone. Property was very clean and people were welcoming. Good transport links close by.
