The welcome was the best ever. Not much English spoken, and we did not speak Italian, but we sat down and shared a drink, were handed tourist literature, given tips. We had a whole floor to ourselves, one other room not occupied, a large room with balcony and lovely view over the town and mountains.plus separate dining room, where we were given a good breakfast.
The one thing we did not like were the narrow one way streets and difficult parking. We took the next day off, and went by bus to the coast.
Very good restaurants an easy walk away.
