Run away! Worst hotel in Rome and expensive
The worst hotel ever and I travel the World. Great location but the almost uneatable Breakfast Buffet (many of the item were far their expiration date to say the least), ruined bedroom without service at all, the appealling terrace shown in pictures is closed all day long except on the weekends. The have only one person at front desk (change into a security gard un the late evening and night) so he seems not to he able (or willing?) to keep the terrace Open. With 6 days in Rome, over 25/26 degrees could have been nice to stop there. No bar, no lounge, no room service, no ice ! The only day I care to show at breakfast room I could only take one glass of still warm water. As I kindly asked to have a glass of ice (in Italian) the young lady serving shouted at me :" for what???". It' a one star hotel , very expensive and not worth it. I go to Rome almost every year for over 40 years and this Regno Hotel ruined my time completely.

Excellent stay at the now renovated hotel regno . Super spacious superior room with hige double glazed windows, lots of natural light & great people watching. Quiet within , so a good nights sleep . Genuinely friendly staff , happy to help & chat . Breakfast was a little lacking but quaint . Would definitely stay again

Despite positive reviews on Expedia, this place should not be rated high. There is construction in front of the hotel. the room is small with a tiny window, the staff is unhelpful and very corse when asking questions, and the breakfast is so-so, nothing spectacular. Sorry to be a doomer.

The hotel is in a perfect place for sightseeing, right in the middle of all the must see tourist sites. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in all matters. We did have some issues with hot water and our door not locking properly, but those were fixed promptly.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Regno. Our room was beautiful, modern style, and super clean! Room was quiet, super quiet and we had a wonderful sleeps after a few days of walking. Place is center to all tourist locations. Pantheon only 5 min away. Spanish Steps only 7 min walks. Colosseo 20 min away. Everything is super close. If you need a taxi for further places to see, the hotel would arrange it for you. They arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. If I need to rate 20 out of 20, I would. In addition, staff was friendly and accommodating.

The property itself is very convenient and the rooms comfortable which means we would stay there again - there are three areas they need to improve - 1) breakfast was poor both in choice and quality, 2) the "roof top bar" had so little choice of drinks it wasn't worth the effort (a bit of a joke) and yet simply fixed 3) whilst the hotel staff were friendly - we needed to find out about buses to get to the airport but the next day was a bank holiday - we asked several members of staff on reception for help, one took at the details and did nothing, one just said he didnt know, and one just said look on the web site. These are minor irritations but could easily be fixed.
