Great Location
This hotel is in a perfect location. Close to the train station and all of the sites. The rooms are spacious and quiet. We would definately stay there again.

Fair 4,0
Poor security and night staff.
Room was okay...BUT...we were awoken at 0200 by a loud hammering (not knocking!) on our door. Someone was trying to knock the door down. The door was thankfully double bolted otherwise they may have broken in. The door frame was moving with each bang. My family were petrified. The reception staff did not answer the phone, so we called the police. Eventually, the reception did answer the phone and they stated that it was a 'misunderstanding', and that the person was looking for a different room. This is unlikely. We answered the door knocking by was obvious that whoever they were looking for, it was not a family. It was a frightening experience. We feared that a much more serious situation may have been occurring. The reception staff did not help. They 'cancelled' the police against my wishes. They did not offer any plausible explanation. It is possible that it was a drunk, but if so, how did he gain entry to the hotel? Or a disgruntled partner, but he continued to try to kick the door down. Or it may have been someone trying to rob us. Whatever it was, questions remain unanswered and we will never stay there again.
