Kind of gross
While the location of the hotel is ideal - near all the beach clubs and short walking distance to shopping, dining, etc. - I am quite surprised that it has any positive reviews. The hotel is in a total state of disrepair - including holes in the walls, stains on the headboard, and manual locks that don't work. I was quite disappointed as the photos shown online give a very different impression. I would not recommend.

Very good
We very much enjoyed Nice. Enjoyed the beach and the old town. Very easy to get around and the restaurants were very good. Service at the hotel was great. I had to make a number of long distance calls, and the front desk staff were very accommodating.

Great location and frendly staff...room was a bit run down. Asked if i could upgrade as no tea or coffee facilities within room. Was happy to pay but none was available. Breakfast was slow and not much in the form of choice. Also friends had to cook their our own eggs.

The location was 5 star, and the services were 5 star but at an affordable price. I would definitely book there again when I am in Nice..

Get the sea view room
The sea view room is incredible and for sure worth the extra cost. We loved sitting and watching the ocean from our room!

Nice place .. good value
We enjoyed our stay . However I ordered a coffee in the downstairs cafe and it was not drinkable . I left the whole cup because I couldn’t drink more than one sip . I was charged $4 for it even though I told the person making the coffee that it was not good .

Located on the Esplanade walking distance to many locations for shopping and food. The entrance & lobby is quit spacious and impressive in a style of years gone by, The rooms overlooking the sea have superb views. Friendly staff were always on the reception to assist. The air-conditioning did not work in the first room were were assigned, so the staff placed us in an upgraded room, where it was cooler. The breakfast room was also too hot. Our visit was in October but the temperature was unusually warm.
