This hotel is in pretty rough shape. It was the cheapest room in the area, though, so we thought we'd give it a try.
When we first came in the room, there was a strong odor. It was almost like cat urine? It improved slightly when I turned on the air conditioner, but it never really went away.
The bed was fine, but the sofa in our room wasn't...it looked like there were back cushions, but it was actually hollow, so your body just collapsed into the wall.
As for amenities:
1) The pool was drained and closed, so no comments there.
2) When we checked in, the desk clerk said that there would be a "little breakfast" in the morning. All that was available was coffee/tea and pre-packaged muffins or sweet rolls. I wasn't expecting a hot buffet, but maybe a banana?
3) There is a little pagoda next to the parking lot with a creek running past it. My husband sat out there to drink his coffee and said it was very pleasant.
I don't think we'll stay here again. It was just a place to sleep while visiting our son in Asheville, but I think we'll spend a few more bucks next time to get something closer and cleaner.
