Gross and unkept
We purchased the ocean view room, which felt like a bad movie set in the early 80’s. This is a classic Instagram vs reality play. The pics they post are in now way what the reality is. The room had a broken lock, had mold, was dirty and we were in the most premium room. We paid $600 a night and wouldn’t stay for free. I am also a Hotels.com gold member and stay 60+ nights with them, they would not refund my priority stamps despite sending these pics. Very disappointed all the way around.

property is okey, but some improvements required
The Tony hotel is okay overall. We stayed 11 days for vacations and enjoyed SoBe. But two issues to be mentioned: First of all rhe reception staff. They seems to be nice and polite, but ABSOLUTELLY not helpful. There is one guy (I guess he is a manager of the property) who knows how to deal with any problem, but he is Mister NO for any requests. Other staff are absolutely non-professional and don’t know anything, every time they call that guy to ask how to respond/provceed or ask you to come later (tonight, tomorrow). At the end of our stay the person at front reception was not sure … how to call a cab. It was hilarious. To sum up: the staff rather could make you new problems for guests staying at the hotel but not to resolve yours. Second: tile floor at the bathroom. We stayed at the upper level room (Ocean Drive Deluxe King) which I guess their second expansive room. The tile in bathroom (except shower cabin) requires some maintenance and repair, because all tiles are loose on the floor. Every morning we found pieces of cement and they painfully hurt foots. We put some towels to the floor to walk there barefoot. Oh, one more point. Hotel management: please, don’t start cleaning windows from outside at 7.50am – early in the morning some people want to sleep in their rooms.

The Tony Hotel offers an absolutely perfect location for a stay in Miami Beach! Convenient to the beach, Ocean Ave, the Art Deco district and more… very clean but showing some signs of wear (our sink had a plumbing problem and soaked everything in the bathroom). So fun to stay in a unique and non-corporatized place!

A Brilliant Hotel
We had a sea-side balcony and had a ball watching the activity from our room. The pool was wonderful! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. Honestly cannot say enough nice things about this hotel!! The location is superb .

Great South Beach Holiday Experience
Hotel is perfectly located for exploring South Beach. The staff were very friendly and provided an excellent experience. Rooms were very comfortable and staff accommodating when arriving early or leaving late. We stayed in the Ocean Drive building with a lovely view to the ocean from our balcony. Poll was warm and staff very attentive.

Great location but expected more
Hotel is in a great location just next to Ocean Drive. Air conditioning made rooms very cold and came on and off throughout the night. Restaurant area looked nice and the pool area was very good for a break and a dip in the pool. Room one felt a bit basic and very limited room for clothes if staying longer than a couple of nights. Felt quite expensive for the money and having to pay a resort fee felt excessive when price of room was already high.

Overall my stay was great. The staff was great. The cleanliness was great. What I would have liked differently, the chairs on the balcony were the high metal ones and they were very uncomfortable. I also wish they would have had a screen on the sliding door. Other than that no complaints at all. I would definitely stay there again.

Hôtel parfaitement situé au coin de Collins Avenue et 8e Rue. Piscine sur le toit aurait été plus agréable sans la musique de discothèque à tue-tête. Espaces communs au rez-de-chaussée très agréables. On à aimé la véranda. Chambre confortable. On a eu des voisins bruyants le dernier matin sinon l’hôtel est calme. Chaises de plage et serviettes fournies mais il faut payer pour le parasol. Il faut compter 25$ USD pour les resort fees.
