Friendly staff but disappointed overall
The hotel lobby/courtyard was great. Beyond that, it was disappointing. Only 2 of the 3 elevators worked the entire 7 days of our trip causing you to wait up to 5 or more minutes to even get on one and once you were on one, you were typically jammed in with 10 other people. The pool was small and not enough lounge chairs for more than about 30 people MAYBE. For such a large hotel, there needs to be a pool at least double in size. The bed was not comfortable and the rooms need updating. And, worst of all, the hotel has guest services staff who walk around all week trying to sell you vacation packages. I gave the hotel 3 stars only because it was clean, the price was decent and the location was within walking distance of Universal. However, if you’re looking for something more luxurious or even updated with nicer amenities, look elsewhere.
