This was a very disappointing experience and for the first time ever, we checked out 2 days early. The 'hotel' sends an email prior to arrival stating what facilities are in the room. This email is generic and most of the facilities did not apply to the room we had booked. This email can be considered as quite misleading. We were given room 93 which is upstairs using a very steep and uncovered staircase. This room will be completely unsuitable for anyone with slight mobility issues. There's a short walkway to the door. The walkway was slippery due to moss on the timber. The property uses a unique key tag system which needs an explanation. Despite being advised that rooms were serviced daily, this did not occur. There are no block out curtains and only venetian blinds. At night, there is a light on outside the unit and this resulted in significant light entering the room. Despite having an adjustable thermostat, the heating did not work. The interior walls are not sound proofed and noise from adjacent rooms can be heard. Someone in the adjacent room decided to have a shower at 5:10 am and the noise from the water pipes was loud enough to wake us up. We advised reception after the first night about the heating and the slippery walkway and despite being advised that something would be done that day, nothing was actually done.
