Disappointed in room 124
Disappointed in the room. Room 124 is located across from the staff entry door for the kitchen/breakfast area. We did not sleep well. Aside from the noise at breakfast, which was expected, we heard everything the overnight crew had to do and say. I thought it was people at the bar chatting late, until I came out to ask them to be quieter. Even when the tone came down, I still heard talking through the night. It doesn’t help when you hear the carts clanking in and out of the service door. It was very disappointing to pay for such discomfort.

Nice for a Standard Hotel, Would Stay Here Again
Stayed at Hyatt Place for a night with my boyfriend and mostly have positive things to say about it. We were visiting the aquarium and Old Mistik Village, so the location was perfect. The woman at the front desk was super personable, the check in process was quick and easy. The room itself was really nice. Very clean. Our favorite aspect was the sofa area, most hotels we’ve stayed at just had a bed and a small arm chair. The sink being outside the bathroom seemed strange at first, but it made getting ready while the other person showered super convenient! The only “negative” part of our experience was our room being right outside the elevator, so we heard foot traffic, but it was otherwise very quiet. (Also entertaining to overhear people.) A lof of comments say the bed was uncomfortable, but we both slept soundly. For a standard hotel, it was really nice. The sunset view from the window was a plus. I would stay here again!
