Nice stay
The hotel was nicer than I thought but there's room for improvement with cleanliness. For example, clean the ice bucket and the coffee maker (change the water)

From the moment I checked in it started. The person working that night was so engrossed with her phone that she never acknowledged me for a few minutes. I stayed in room 432. Parties going on all floors and the aroma of pot could be smelled everywhere. No ice machines were working. Had to return to lobby to get ice. Two black coolers in front of the counter at Starbucks had ice in them. I had to scoop ice out which was partially melted so it was there for awhile. While walking back to the elevator I was approached by some girls who got on the elevator to go to another floor and room asking me if I wanted to join their partly declined the invite. I have stayed in a Sonasta off of exit 104 in atlanta off interstate 85 many times no problem. I was in Charlotte one night and this was not of Standard for the type of hotel it should have been. I’m disappointed with my stay and another choice will be made next time. Perhaps the Hilton across the street. Mike Breedlove

I read a lot of bad reveiws before I stayed and after I had booked. I dont know what sone folks expect when staying in hotels. I only needed a place to stay for an event. The room was clean spacious and well kept. The bathroom was clean. I didnt need alot so my value was excellent. Cons-the bathroom door closed on its own. I like to leave the light on at night so I can see where im at. I had to prop the door with the ironing board. Ice machines where down. Seems thats been a long time thing based off other reviews. Ice was avaliable in the lobby. I could hear the loud cars on Harris Blvd and N Tryon. This isnt anything the hotel can fix though. I did go down for a question and the older lady working was on a personal phone call. Took her a hot minute to acknowledge me and answer my question. That customer service is lacking but she was nice and pleasant as well as the next day.

It was an affordable place to stay. Shelter for a couple nights. Nothing to rave about. The room was clean. The linen was mediocre. The heating/AC unit was either broken or set to not be adjusted. The water came thru the faucet with a reddish brown color & did not get as warm as I would prefer. Needless to stay don't drink it. Was disappointed that there was no breakfast available but we survived.

The hotel had good ratings and the front desk staff was nice. The hotel is located in a good area, but I don’t know how to describe it other than to say I felt a little uneasy. Hotel was somewhat dimly lit inside and outside. As someone traveling alone, I was glad to get in my room and lock the door. I believe the hotel had a three star rating but it felt more like a two star. The room seemed clean, but did not have a fresh smell to it. I would not stay there again.
