Location is very convenient. Hotel itself is exactly what you pay for. Kind of grimy, shower had some soap stains and the rooms are very ugly, but otherwise everything worked (AC, toilet, mini fridge). Good to stay at if you need to crash for a day or 2 and want to spend minimal money.

The Stillwell Hotel is definitely an older hotel, so just know what to expect going in. The building and rooms have that older smell, the rooms are small, the beds are on the smaller side, and everything could definitely use some updating. That being said, they do their best to keep the place clean, and for the price, it served its purpose. If you’re looking for something modern or upgraded, this probably isn’t the place. I personally probably wouldn’t stay here again, but for what I needed on this trip, it was good enough and got the job done.

Stayed at this hotel, I liked that it’s super close to the Crypto arena, and lots of food nearby, grocery store etc. the staff was friendly. The room was as advertised. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary but it had what I needed and for the price you won’t find anything cheaper that close. Very vintage building so that was cool.

The building is old and the rooms are basic, but it's super clean and the staff is very professional. I really love staying here and will probably choose this place over others during my next visit. It's very easy to get to the metro from here. The Indian restaurant on the first floor is pretty good, too.

The hotel isn't the cleanest, and the vibe does feel a bit… “creepy” — BUT it was perfect for how much I paid. Even more, the folks at the desk were cool, restaurant in the lobby is some of the best Indian food you'll find in LA, and there's a Whole Foods across the street if you need anything for your stay. It's a great budget hotel if you're already planning to spend a ton of money elsewhere during your stay in LA. I'll definitely be back!
