Lacks some niceties such as coffee or tea in room. No microwave in room or available to guests. Breakfast available for 19 Euros was good. Staff was helpful. Good for a short layover.

Excellent location! A very short walk to the Christmas Markets. Beautiful view of the Main River from our room. Short walk from the S/U Bahn. Room and bathroom were basic but a nice size, clean and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and helpful. A good value by European standards.

We had a long layover in Frankfurt and chose Schopenhauer b/c of its location, easy access to and from the airport, and affordability. The view from our room was so beautiful that we wished for a flight delay/cancellation so we could stay longer. Our room was clean and spacious. The location couldn't be beat: right next to the river and a short walk to all of the main landmarks and attractions, including the Christmas market in Romerberg.
