Wyndham Bayside- nice view, other aspects not good
Requested a room with high floor, bay view( paid extra) and with no adjoining door and away from the elevator and ice machine. They put us in a high floor bayside but we arrived at 10 am and could not checking until 2:30pm. Power went out twice so onsite restaurants were closed those days. Bed and pillows old and uncomfortable, room smelled like an animal or chemical smell - had to open the window. Body lotion sticky and soap cheap. Front desk staff were robotic and not friendly as well as bell man. Are at Ruth’s Chris on property which was outstanding and Claim Jumper which was just ok. Food was good at CJ but wait staff were not good. Too busy doing other tasks. Safe in room was broken. Tables and bed posts covered with fine dust. Carpet was old and ragged in parts of the room. Internet and TV did not work at times due to power outages. Not a good reflection for Wyndham.

No power/lock your cars
This hotel is one in which I have stood at plenty of times in the last 3 years. My stay this past night however was not very pleasant. The power turned off at around 5 AM. I looked outside the balcony overlooking the paid parking lot and to my surprise there was an unhoused person checking every single cars door to see if any were unlocked. Thankfully, everyone had their cars locked. I figured, paying $40 in parking each night, there would be some type of security. Not too sure I would stay here again unfortunately.

Meh hotel.
Good location and liked that it had a free shuttle to and from the airport, but besides that it was not a great hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the chairs and dresser were in poor condition, the room was set up weird, there wasn’t any body wash in the bottle, and when the power went out they didn’t help us figure out how to get to our room very well. Just not impressed.

Outdated rooms, unfriendly staff, but clean rooms
Lower than average stay. Dated and old property. Balcony seemed like it might fall down. Shuttle people just doing the bare minimum, not even a smile. Barely will they say thank you or enjoy your stay. Even the restaurant service at the Claim Jumper at the front of Wyndham has poor customer service. No one says hello or smiles in this place. If it were not for the great views of the bay, we would never have returned to this property, unfortunately. Very nice property in the 70's or 80's. They need to do a nice renovation. Forgot to mention that the housekeeping staff was very friendly and accommodating though. That was the best part of the stay; the housekeepers. Although rooms were outdated, it was clean. It's ot their fault the beds are sunk in and bumpy and thrumpy... the sheets, bedding and towels were fresh and the room was cleaned daily, without request.
