8/10 Very good

We had a nice stay at this property. The Living Unit was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. There were minor maintenance issues that indicate a bit of inattentiveness on the part of staff, such as burnt out light bulbs, broken bedstand light, and non responsive ceiling fan fixture in the sitting space. Be advised that this property demands significant personal details prior to arrival. The most egregious of which is a demand for an electronic copy of ones drivers license sent via e-mail! This is simply over the top. I demanded that my personal information be safeguarded, or better yet completely deleted, and received no such assurance. This left a bitter taste that still lingers. We will not stay at this property again.

4/10 Fair

Nice place to stay, clean cabins, friendly staff, but the food at the bar is way overpriced, drinks were exceptional. Grills to cook on outside are junk. My timing was bad for the weekend stay because the live action role players were dressed up as witches, fairies, knights and trolls and other mystical creatures were staying there. They partied all night and were loud and didnt respect the quiet time after 10pm. Thats why i give lawson park a 2 rating

We chose Lawson Adventure Park for the mountain cabin experience for the central location to various towns and activities, some convenient on-site amenities, like basic dining options, and especially since they also offered white water rafting as an add-on activity. Pros: Communication was excellent; the texts and links provided were very helpful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was just large enough for 1 adult and 2 kids without feeling cramped. The scenery - wow, just beautiful. Great location - quick drive into Idaho Springs or Georgetown to dine or walk around. It was also a simple drive to Winter Park. Cons: NO A/C. It was just warm enough to be uncomfortable and took us awhile to fall asleep. There is a ceiling fan and a large portable fan. Another con - it's near a highway, so I'd recommend a white noise app on your phone. We wanted to open the windows for air flow, which I'd recommend during the day, but it's tough at night since we didn't want to hear the highway noise. I'd also check ensure the linens for the pull-out are clean. The Beginner white water rafting experience was so fun! Jimmy was our guide and he was excellent. He was so great with our group, patient, skilled, and had a calm energy. We would absolutely take their tour again (if water is cold, I'd definitely ask for a waterproof jacket, in addition to the wetsuits provided, which we weren't aware was available). But, we survived and it was fun nevertheless. Overall, a great value.

Overall a very nice place. Nestled in a quiet area. From what I saw they offer awesome activities. Didn’t get to explore the offered activities, but they seemed to be pretty fun. Would like to see minor adjustments. The cabin I was in did not have wash clothes, but offered a bunch of towels. Maybe a window unit AC would be a good addition, other that that it was great. 8/10 would recommend!

Cabin
Beautiful backdrop behind cabin, plus can walk down to river. Lots of traffic noise during day due to being right off interstate.

so not allowed to bring booze onto property, said they had a restaurant there to purchase it. It was closed. at 7 pm. so no food or drinks, I had to drive a few miles just to get subway. no running water in yurts, looked like they did provide water dispensers in the rooms (table had a dry sink) but was none in my room. My advice, don't go during off season,

Don’t not stay at the yurts! This is a noisy property, WiFi doesn’t work, lack of basic amenities, the one dining option not even open!!! They say no outside liquor/beer/wine but don’t even have the ONE restaurant open???? Very hard to get to yurts, not at all friendly for the hard of walking, I have nothing but nasty opinions of this property SCAM comes quick to mind

So rented the one bedroom cabin for a ski trip. Convinced me that a tiny home may just be the ticket for second home near the slopes. Great accommodations! Staff was very responsive. Quiet place to relax after a long day on the slopes and centrally located to a ton of ski hills. Will be back!

My partner and I loved our stay in the yurt! It was so cozy and warm, comfortable beds and the sunroof was a cool touch! The location was perfect, we were able to go so many places during our stay in CO. We’ll definitely stay here again!
