Phuket Shooting Range is the biggest attractions and activities complex on the island. Founded in 1989, it offers a wide variety of fun and excitement such as a shooting range, a go-kart racing track, a snake farm and show, a paintball and airsoft (BB gun) skirmish field, an archery range and ATV rides, among others.

All the venues for these activities are within a huge park (approximately 150,000 square metres in size) that is some 700 metres from the Chalong Circle, on the road to Kata Beach. Drinks and snacks are available at most of the Phuket Shooting Range activities and there's an onsite café where you can pause with refreshments in between the fun.

Phuket Shooting Range lends its name to the entire complex and is part of the Phuket Rifle Association. Here, there’s a good choice of handguns or rifles of different calibres, including .22, .38, .45 and 9mm as well as shotguns. The instructors are extremely professional and stringent rules are in place to assure perfect safety for visitors and shooters alike. For instance, any alcohol and/or inebriated people are strictly forbidden to enter the shooting range.

Set prices include a target, bullets, gun, instructor and insurance. According to the calibre of the bullet, expect to pay between 890 and 1,190 baht for 10 rounds. Archery is also available at Phuket Shooting Range.

The Cobra Show Phuket is the place to observe some of the many reptiles native to Thailand. The snake farm tour lasts 15 minutes, with dozens of snakes (both venomous and non-venomous) on display.

The Cobra Show features cobras, king cobras and mangrove snakes. You’ll be amazed at the courage of the people handling and even kissing these highly dangerous creatures. You’ll also have the opportunity to touch, handle and be photographed with a python. There’s no set schedule for the Cobra Show – they start as soon as there are enough people to watch them.

Paintball and airsoft share a lot of similarities, with the main difference being the ammunition the guns shoot. Paintball markers shoot coloured paintballs (hence its name) while the more realistic-looking airsoft guns use plastic pellets. Both are very entertaining, high-intensity team-building activities. If you want to play with more people on the field, the local airsoft community plays at Phuket Shooting Range on Sundays.

Airsoft BB Gun and Paintball Asia have 2 different battlefields: in the woods and in ‘town’. All equipment, protective gear and clothing are provided. Prices vary according to which game you play and how much ammunition you want.
