You’ll find an opera house, museums, arts centres and the Jersey Battle of Flowers festival taking place among centuries-old structures like Elizabeth Castle and the Parish Church of St Helier. The Central Market on Beresford Street is worth checking out, too.

Head down to the marina and you’ll find it packed with yachts. If you want to get away from the bustle for a bit, there are even a couple of good beaches nearby.
