Disappointing
We have stayed at this location numerous times simply because of proximity to our children & Stan’s coffee next door. This visit we could see a definite deterioration of the hotel. The toilet wouldn’t stop running on its own, the mini fridge kept making a haunting noise, keeping us awake at night so we had to unplug it altogether, the flooring was dangerously lifting & if you’re looking for “free breakfast”, this is not the place. They offer it but it’s really just sad with powdered egg substitute. Stan’s restaurant next door does have some great biscuits and gravy though lol. It also took about 10 minutes to get hot water flowing in the shower! Not good when it’s winter & you’re standing there naked wanting hot water. They also had signs up notifying their guests that there was a staff shortage so trash & towels “would be collected”. Would be as opposed to “would not”. It was just disappointing all around. I think we’ll look for something else next trip. 4x’s is enuff grace for this place.

Looks great if you don’t turn the lights on.
We arrived late with sleeping kids and kept the lights low as we put the kids in bed. In the dark the room looked good. Well the sun came up and the dirt was revealed. The floors had not been vacuumed or cleaned, walls and couches were not clean. Bathroom was ok, and beds were decent! I’m sharing a pic of a couple of the treasures that we found in the floor. Could easily be a great hotel… just needs cleaned!

While there were many things on a positive note about our stay such as the staff who were great and understanding. The breakfast is pretty good too. However, the cleanliness of the rooms was not up to standards set forth by Choice Hotels. My shower had a large amount of hair in it and my sisters room had brown water from the faucet of the tub. There are areas that are chipped which could be painted over easily instead of placing a picture over it. Maintenance came to check it out but we didn’t want to risk taking a shower in brown water so my sister and her husband opted to wait until we returned home to shower so we don’t know if it is fixed. Housekeeping did come remove the hair from the drain but makes me wonder if my room was even cleaned. I doubt I will return to this Comfort Suites again.

Not good. Lobby was hot & unappealing...not welcoming but front desk clerk was friendly! AC in room did not work. Walls thin...could hear everything in next room. Hotel is just worn out. Did not stay for breakfast. Will not stay here again!
