Excellent boutique hotel
Wonderful hotel right on the waterfront and main street. Walking distance to shops and dining as well as the working harbor. Very nice, large & modern rooms and bathrooms. Balcony room provided a nice open air space to watch sunrise, rooftop deck was great for sunset and/or evening drinks. Breakfast was simple but classy, water stations for flat or bubbly available to fill up anytime.

Pay for location and good service but not luxuriou
We enjoyed our visit. The property is conveniently located and that is what you are paying the high price for. Everything else is good not high end luxury like you would expect for the price.

Jewel on the Maine Coast
Outstanding all-around experience, which provided a great 'home base' for hiking in Camden Hills and a day-trip to Acadia.
New construction. Modern design and amenities. Excellent shower and heated tile floors. Warm and friendly staff. Best morning coffee in the area.
Returned for a second night, as the experience was so good! Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel
Magnificent hotel, large spacious and local art decorated rooms. The roof terrace gives you a lovely view of the harbor and entire town. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and a delicious continental breakfast in the morning makes me think even a cold winter stay would be idyllic. Would happily stay there again and again.

Front desk person very helpful with check in, parking and dining recommendations. Nice spacious clean room.
Loved the mattress and bed linens. Could hear road noise from our room. Found TV service to be somewhat helpful but also frustrating regarding things to do in area. Unable to easily get channels . Seemed to need sign ins to get anything easily. Continental breakfast was nice.

If you enjoy beautiful architectural design and art, then 250 Main is the hotel for you. Room was spacious, clean with a view. Breakfast was healthy and excellent. Roof top offered a lovely place to view the harbor and relax. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

6/10 Good
12 September 2024
For the price one would expect some amenities other than basics. Parking was in free areas of the town not on property. Breakfast was coffee, danish, cold cereal no big deal. Their wine afternoon comes with a cost that is billed later on for those who are unable to directly book. The only good thing I can say is that the view from the balacony room was very nice. I would not stay there again just for that. There are other places that would be just as nice if not nicer for half the price. Big disappointment. No convenient restaurants within close proximatey. Forget about finding a nice breakfast in the town. The whole experience was disappointing. Other towns along the coast of Maine are so nice and welcoming and this was a surprise to find a place advertised as art inspired to be so dull.
