Small Ski Town
Great location! You can walk to any of the restaurants and/or shops from this spot. Nice walkway to the Lake as well. 10 minute drive to Eldora Ski Resort. The hotel has two nice common areas for bigger groups. Very nice and helpful staff. Don't expect high-end ammenities within the hotel room. Think of the room more like an old classic cabin and you'll appreciate it more.

This is old log cabin hotel. Furnishings are good with a cabin feel. Beds were ok. Breakfast was hot and cold cereal. Town is right there. Close to Eldora skiing.

I like the property, but I don't appreciate the fact they charged us $300 extra for smoking fee, when we don't even smoke, this happened they day after we left the room, they suppose to send me a pic as a the proof after I called to find out about this extra charge but they didn't do it until two weeks later after me calling them. So, I got one pic with a cigarette bud in a kitchen sink, I will never know how it got there, but what I do know is ... it wasn't me, and they charged me $300.

Staying at the Buffalo Creek Lodge was such a treat for my husband and I celebrating our wedding anniversary this past weekend. The lodge was so warm, cozy, and inviting, and couldn't have been in a better location. It was a joy to listen to and look at the creek right outside our window, and to be so centrally located. I look forward to hopefully staying here again in the future!

A room with a view
It was a very quaint lodge, our room faced a babbling brook and the main street up the hill to downtown Netherland. It was conveniently located to walk into town or across the street to supermarket. We had a king size bed. It was during the peak season of fall leaves, and we will definitely stay there again
