Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money
My family recently stayed at this motel and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all.
Room: dingy and outdated, with an unpleasant smell. The mattresses were hard and lumpy, and the pillows were flat, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Constant smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke in the common areas.
Plumbing: drain flies in both the bathroom and the main room, which was quite off-putting. The sink had a jammed stopper, preventing it from draining properly, so we had to use a plastic butter knife to keep it open.
Safety: the only shelf in the room came crashing off the wall on our first night, causing a gallon of water I had placed there to burst open. It took three days for maintenance to address this issue and reattach it.
Amenities: no hand towels, washcloths, or mini toiletries provided—just bath towels. Additionally, there was only one roll of toilet paper provided for the entire stay. No complimentary breakfast, which was another letdown and housekeeping service was non-existent for occupied rooms, which was unexpected.
TV: cable channels were very limited.
Location: next to a busy road and highway, and a Walmart Supercenter which made it quite noisy due to heavy traffic. Also, an active freight railroad!
Office: no receipt given at check-out; I was told to obtain it from the booking agent which was frustrating.
Overall, I would not recommend this motel based on my experience.
