Don’t expect to get any sleep here
We left the hotel at 4:45 in the morning, many hours before our intended departure, because my husband and I had the worst night of sleep ever. The room was boiling hot and we could not sleep because of it. We couldn’t figure out why the air conditioner wasn’t running and then we noticed it would only turn on when we were up and moving around. Upon closer inspection of the thermostat, we saw it said Sensorstat in it. After a quick online search, we realized it was motion activated. It would shut the air conditioner off while we were lying in bed trying to sleep. It’s a way for the hotels to save on energy costs at the expense of their customers. Why you would put that in a $200 a night hotel, where we were there for only a few hours TO SLEEP COMFORTABLY is beyond my comprehension. We fully expected a decent night’s sleep for that much money. When we went to the front desk, the guy working there denied they had them in the rooms which is a load of poop. He knew.
