Refund the days not used
I checked in on 12/8 and planned checkout on 12/21 in my booking. In the meantime I need to check out earlier than the planned due to business. So I went to front desk to ask if I can get refund if I leave days earlier than plan. after getting the answer "yes", I checked out the next day (12/15), and the front desk gentleman said the same "yes" that I can get the refund for the rest of the days not used. and he told me that I can ask for the refund to Hotels.com because I booked the Comfort Inn thru Hotels.com. Then I talked to Hotels.com for the refund. Hotels.com they need to talk with the Comfort Inn manager. five days later, Hotels.com told me that the manager does not give me the refund. I'm trying to talk to the manager for my refund, will escalate if the manager cannot give me refund.

Worst stay ever
The room was filthy, stain carpet, the bathroom bathtub didn’t drain as we were taking a bath. they refused to change our room even though I told them I was getting bad allergies at night and couldn’t sleep, they would say they were booked and we saw there were rooms available, they even told me to go somewhere else, very rude and the free breakfast was so bad that we rather pay to eat somewhere else. It is not worth it
this is under the air conditioning, very dirty and smells bad

It was fine for what it was. The shower was not great, there wasn’t always hot water. The housekeepers were phenomenal! They were helpful, friendly and did a great job! We did find mold on the lid to our ice bucket. The breakfast wasn’t great. If this had been a vacation, instead of just a room to sleep in, we would have been very disappointed. But, it suited our purpose. It was a last minute trip and we literally slept in the room and night, and showered in the morning. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Quick trip
The room was clean, full hot breakfast on the first floor, location was perfect for my stay. My only complaint was my room did not have a remote upon checking in and when I asked for one they gave me one, but it would not work with either code given to set it up. Not a deal breaker though. Additionally, you are right next door to Marine Corps Air station Miramar so expect every so often to hear jets taking off.
