Made us feel like we were Roman!
Very lovely room. Everything appeared new. The breakfast was quintessentially European and very tasty. Staff members at the reception desk and in the breakfast area were pleasant and helpful. Only “minus” was that the bed and the pillows were hard, but I find that to be the case in most hotels I’ve stayed in. I would happily return to the Hitel Delle Civette.

A handicapped bathroom whose pipes absolutely reeked. Not a single bottle of water without paying. Not a single biscuit in the room, but there were tea bags. The bar was a cafeteria!! This property is perfect respite after the hustle and bustle of all the city excursions. It is one or two metro rides from the main attractions. Breakfast was sufficient to start you the day. Wednesday to Sunday they have roof top light meal dinning and I bought a bottle of wine since it was so good. The winery has history connected with the hotel. Please ask the history of the hotel. I was so happy to hear it 💕

This hotel was beautiful and a perfect place to spend our stay in Rome! The rooms were spacious and clean. I did think the beds were a tiny bit uncomfortable, but that could just be my own opinion. Fantastic stay at the Hotel Delle Civette. Staff were professional, polite, helpful and friendly. Roof terrace is fantastic for relaxed evenings watching the sun set and enjoying the piano music. Rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you could need. Hotel does an excellent breakfast and evening snacks are available on the roof terrace. If you fancy something more substantial La Limonaia is only a short walk away. Bologna metro station is less than 10 mins walk from the hotel and gets you into Roma Termini within a very short time or the number 62 bus stops just down the road from the hotel and will get you into the city centre. If you book through Expedia just double check the city tax rate….current rate on hotel website is €6 pppn.
