All good, especially the location next to the train station and a short walk to the bus station needed early next morning.
But my nights stay was interrupted at 2am by a water leak from the room above which continued all early morning making it very difficult to sleep.
Reported it first thing to a property manager who seemed concern but there was no move to compensate for the situation ( a free breakfast as I was up already or something similar).
Good have been a very good stay except for a that problem which did put a different complexion on the hotel. Reception check in and out was ok but not particularly welcoming.

Disappointed
This hotel needs a serious make over. The room we had did not feel clean, bed was clean and comfortable but thats about it. The windows were so dirty you could only just see the alleyway below. The decor is old and outdated and peeling, an old radiator is still on the wall. It was only one night so we accepted it but was disappointed!
I'm told there are better rooms on the 2nd floor, maybe they are making their way to the 3rd floor?
As far as we could see the only thing going for this hotel is the railway station so close and being in the middle of town!!

Not the room I booked
I booked 2 single night stays this month. In both cases I booked a ‘standard double’ room and on both occasions they tried to give me a ‘cozy’ double. It was changed when I pointed out the issue but on the second occasion the room was still tiny. Making the same error twice appears deliberate.

Super amazing hotel. Right in the middle of city center. Next to public transportation and the rail line is right there. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It has a grand stair case that is well noticeable as you walk in. Highly recommend this hotel.

The parking nearby was not bad but you have to pay for it. And the taxi drivers are very rude when you are dropping off your luggage or packing up to go in the small front lot. However, the lobby is beautiful and this is so close to everything in Inverness. So the location can't be beat, and the front entrance is stunning. Parking isn't bad, just costs money. The attached restaurant is pretty good, and the option for breakfast was nice. The room okay -- somewhat small but not a bad place to rest. The TV did not offer much in terms of programming.

Great Location in Inverness
This is an older property with lots of charm. The room was large, comfortable and clean. I thought that it was going to be noisy because of the proximity to the train station but we never heard a train our entire stay. The on site restaurant was very good. We ate there several times during our stay. The lobby was gorgeous as pictured on the site.
