Scare Room
Stayed in the “Scare Room”. In all reality. For this to be a budget Quality inn. It was actually really decent. Had a decent breakfast. Cereal and waffles and some other stuff. Was sketchy at all.

MEDIOCRE
Old accommodation that had been updated. Our non-smoking room had a lingering order of cigarettes. We had requested a bottom floor room and were told none were available. I'm handicapped (not in a wheelchair) and climbing the steep stairs was very difficult. Will try another accommodation the next time.

After having to have the young lady walk to my room and show her things that were wrong and being moved it was better. Tried to put me in a room with a microwave that was broken bed had stains on cover unacceptable

Room smelled like cigarette smoke so bad, bugs in drawers and around walls, mold and mildew all over baseboards, no shower pressure, drain in sink did not work and the smell of sewer in bathroom and sink area was awful as well! No pool like advertised either!

The hotel wasn’t bad. The front desk clerk tried to make me pay more than what was on my confirmation. She told me 2 different reasons as to why it was different. After some back and forth, she finally allowed me to pay the amount that was on my confirmation.
The cleanliness wasn’t bad. It’s an older hotel and they appear to be updating it as they can.

Worse stay in my life in a hotel
From the time of the check in, the desk clerk had the personality of a wall. She could not even smile or say more than can I help you. She ran my card handed my room key and turned around and walked off. So when I got to my room, when walking into the room the smell of the room was horrible, it stunk so bad. The room was absolutely nasty. The continental breakfast was a joke. The waffle iron was not even on. I cut it on and waited a while. The lack of food much less the nasty coffee, cold syrup.
I checked out and the same clerk was there. She printed my receipt and walked off. Did not even asked how my stay was or anything, just looked at me as if I was bothering her.
The hotel needs to be demolished and start over from ground up.

I've stayed at this property a lot over the years (about 7 years now). They don't seem to be putting any funds into upkeep so it's getting a bit worn. I had a small issue at check in with the night clerk announcing my room number loudly in a lobby with multiple people. it's a safety issue for me and I did let him know politely that it wasn't ok. The morning clerk was very nice and said she'd let management know.
