Bad Service, No Response, Unsanitary
I was very unimpressed with my stay here and will not be returning. I previously stayed here and used the valet, but this time I self-parked. Initially, hotels.com says that this hotel has free parking, but when I arrived I was informed by the attendant that this was a "mistake" and I would need to pay, electronically using an app. I should not have had to pay, but the front desk attendant insisted there was "nothing they can do" even though it's their parking lot. I was also supposed to be upgraded and receive some type of VIP gift (unknown to me, but stated by hotels.com) and this was never mentioned by the hotel. A few days later they reached out via text to ask me how my stay was going, so I wrote it all out, along with comments about the back door (more on that later) and no one ever reached out to me. The front entrance is nice, but the hotel and back door themselves are not. I wish I had reviewed the other reviews closer. The door to the parking lot was covered - and I do mean COVERED - in dew and moisture from the pool area. Every time you opened the door the gross, dirty humidity rained down on you as you were walking out. This - among many other unpleasant things that happened to me - means I will NOT, EVER be returning to this hotel. If I spend this much on a hotel, I expect much better service and a significantly cleaner environment.
