Outdated, Blah
The day was nice, it's a little outdated. But very clean. The staff and service was nice. Unfortunately the pool heater was broken so the pool was not available. No notice that the pool was broken. There was a lot of people drinking in the lobby, on the staircase and around the pool. It made it a little uncomfortable. There were also beer cans in the flower pots out front. So they definitely allow things to be a little bit more flexible and laid-back.

Room was what you paid for.
We were told pool was closed when we checked in. When the weekend arrived they allowed a group of people drink and play loud music until after mid ight for two nights. Pool was open but water was too cold to en. Staff was great, breakfast was okay. Would have been better not to have a room that looked over the i door pool.

Amazing
We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay ! The staff all the way from beginning to the last day was exceptionally nice, welcoming, made you feel very comfortable. The very sweet gal that checked us in did everything to make us welc0med she even had to work mor ethan 24 hours dur to a snow/ice storm and did it with a big smile on her face everytime you saw her. Breakfast was delicious everyday. I even went out and fun sledding in the snow while there , visoted with other folks that was staying there everyone was just right down friendly. We was in town for a funeral and have never enjoyed our time like this considering the circumstances.

Our stay
This is the second time we have stayed here and was pleased each time. We did however miss the holiday decorations that we enjoyed last year. It must have been due to the new management. The staff was all extremely helpfull and friendly.

Loved this hotel a few years ago but we just stayed again and the heater only halfway worked, heater in bathroom broken.. roaches in room, indoor pool was insanely cold.. breakfast was not great. They used to have a gift shop but I couldn't find anything this time

Compromise outdated decor for price and Convenienc
Stayed 3 nights poolside during an event at Ft. Knox. VERY convenient and staff was awesome. It is an older hotel, but the convenience to restaurants and Ft. Knox gate was worth it. BRING XTRA PILLOWS!!!

A bit older, but clean. Indoor pool Not heated. Make sure it's not a special weekend (Jr. ROTC). Unruly young people with no supervision who run up and down the halls. Screaming, shouting and pounding, almost nonstop. Little sleep for other hotel guests.

The pool is interestingly done to make it indoor pool. The hotel is old but taken care of. The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. The staff was really nice.
