"We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Mariazinha Charming Hotel in Portimão. Mohamed and the staff made us feel so welcome—truly gracious and lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and far beyond what we expected: fresh-squeezed orange juice, great coffee, charcuterie, yogurt with honey, eggs, and even gluten-free bread specially prepared for me once they learned about my intolerance. That kind of thoughtfulness meant so much. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and so close to all the fun and nightlife, yet still very quiet and private when you return to the hotel. We arrived with no expectations and left already dreaming about coming back. I highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portimão!"

"Canadian here. After 17 days of touring Portugal, this final stop was the icing on the cake. Opulence around every corner! Gated, beautiful location right on the beach. The pool area is exactly what you’d expect from a five star hotel. Breakfast overlooking the beach was magic. For my Canadian friends, think a smaller version of one of our CN hotels. Luxurious. "

"It a excellent hotel - enjoyed very much - it is what we need for our R&R. Loved the Spa facilities. Everything i.e. Beach, nearby Restaurant are excellent and enjoyed daily inc boat rise to the caves and seen Dolphins. I'm marking this hotel for our next visit if we are making plan to visit Algarve again."

"Extrêmement bien situé, à quelques minutes de marche de la superbe plage, coin tranquille mais tout de même proche des restaurants et bars, sans les décibels ! Supérette en face de l’hôtel au point où on peut s’y rendre en maillot de bain. On y trouve pratiquement tout ce dont on a besoin et à de très bons prix."

"We loved this hotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly each day. The pool area is lovely and it is easy to get sun loungers at pretty much any time of the day. There are steps next to the pool area which take you straight down to a beautiful beach. The food in the restaurant was great and there was lots of variety, each night there were plenty of vegetarian options as well as fish dishes for example. My partner has a peanut allergy and the chefs were helpful and accommodating with this. We booked a massage with the beautician that is based in the hotel which was excellent and really relaxing. The only slight issue we had was that our room was on a lower floor below a bar next door to the hotel and the music kept us up on one of the nights, but this isn't really in the hotel's control. Overall, we had an excellent stay."
