A Room not a Garden Apartment

This was a room in a private house, not an apartment. This was totally not what we were expecting. We were not expecting a dog outside the door of the room. While the owner was cordial, customers should be told that this is a room, not a garden apartment.

Brand New House With Garden View!

We stayed here from Friday 31st May and left on the 2nd of June. The rooms are huge and very comfortable! I loved the ensuite bathroom with a smart toilet! Melody and her daughter were amazing hosts; I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone! It is tucked away in a quiet area off of Granville! If I return to Vancouver, this is where I will stay again!

We stayed in the king bedroom with the jacuzzi tub. The house is huge and shared with the residents and other guests. The decor is very ornate and opulent, lots of crown moulding and gold paint. The bed was comfortable and clean with soft sheets. The bathroom is very spacious all marble and comfortable. There's a bidet, a jacuzzi tub and a beautiful rainfall shower with 5 shower heads. It was lovely to soak in the tub with the jets. There was a good sized flat screen in the room and free WiFi. They have a cute dog who is quiet and friendly. The host was friendly. Checking in was challenging only because no one was home when we arrived... I had to call the host and be walked through unlocking the house and finding my room. We had a small miscommunication but did find our room eventually. Unfortunately the ad lead me to believe there would be a hot tub. There was no hot tub on the property, the ad references the jacuzzi soaker tub as a hot tub. Unfortunately we expected a hot tub where hubby and I could get in together and the soaker tub was too small to share. I wish that had been more clear on the description and ad. Checking out was easy, we just left the keys and locked the front door on the way out. For the price, considering its a shared space... I won't be staying here again unless I can rent out the full house with some friends.
