Stuttgart and related destinations

Automotive enthusiasts find nirvana at the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums, where Germany's engineering prowess gleams under perfect lighting. The Old Castle looms over Schillerplatz, where locals gather for coffee amid Renaissance splendour. Stuttgart's cultural credentials extend beyond cars to the Stuttgart National Theatre and Opera, where performances rival those in more celebrated European capitals. After museum-hopping, soak tired muscles at Leuze Mineral Baths, a local ritual that feels both medicinal and indulgent. Wilhelma Zoo houses creatures in buildings that look like they belong in Arabian Nights, a curious but delightful architectural choice that children find magical.

"The property and room were clean and modern. The room was a decent size and comfortable, except that there wasn’t anywhere to store folded clothes. That would limit my stay at this place to 1-2 nights. Check-in went fine, but I saw other times that there was a line. The ability to check in online would be convenient. The big disappointment in this place was that bar. It wasn’t staffed at all during our 2 night stay over Friday and Saturday nights. We weren’t the only ones annoyed when wanting a drink after check-in or a nightcap."

Ruby Hanna Hotel Stuttgart by IHG

Ruby Hanna Hotel Stuttgart by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"This is a very modern hotel inside a shopping center. It has nice restaurant and bar at the lobby, actually the front desk is also the bar countertop. It is huge, with long corridors that looks like a maze, but I found my way. There are a couple of galleys in each floor where you can get hot water, coffee, and tea for free. The rooms are super modern, with the shower glass box in the center, which looks cool. It is very well located in a nice pedestrian area of the city. The only critic is that I arrived at 11 AM very tired from my overseas flight and they said that they couldn’t give me the room until three I don’t believe that the hotel was full, but I imagine that they have strict rules."

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Stuttgart is in January, July, and August, when hotel prices are likely to be lower. For those looking to immerse themselves in the city’s rich history and culture, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows for ample time to explore significant landmarks, including museums, theatres, castles, and monuments, as well as enjoying the vibrant dining scene and charming cafés. With its budget-friendly options, Stuttgart offers great value for money for travellers keen on experiencing its cultural and historical attractions.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals for travellers heading to Stuttgart. 3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may differ depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Stuttgart hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels can offer a more personalised touch and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates appears above or below the average. Should the cost seem high, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but with Stuttgart's outstanding public transport options, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected.
