Easy stop over on our way to Sydney. Best deal with quality hotel and free buffet breakfast. The staff were super friendly and the room was very nice and clean. Kitchen open till 10pm so easy to get a good meal if you arrive late at night.

Pleasantly surprised.
Great option for Newcastle. Really impressive hotel. Easy to check-in, rooms are nice and clean and in very good condition. The inclusive breakfast is also great - although would be excellent if they had a barista-cart for a couple of hours each AM. Currently just a machine (but a pretty good one with real beans vs pods etc). Didn't know about the $20 parking on level 2 - but will definitely use that next time. Very close to the waterfront precinct. Pleasantly surprised really, and will have me looking into Holiday Inn Express options in my future travels.
