Between the grand boulevards and hidden tapas bars, Madrid reveals itself as a city that never quite sleeps. Admire masterpieces at the Prado Museum, where Goya and Velázquez compete for your attention with surprising intimacy. Plaza Mayor buzzes with street performers and cafés where locals debate football with operatic passion. The Royal Palace offers rooms so lavishly gilded you'll wonder how anyone actually lived there. Mercado San Miguel tempts with tapas counters where you can point at whatever looks good – it all does. Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we walked into the hotel, staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. The rooms were of decent size, clean and simple (exactly what you would need for a few night stay). The hotel itself was cool, a pool was nice to have at peak summer heat when we could not walk around the city. The rooftop was very cute, good drinks and even food. We did not have a chance to try their restaurant but we liked the location as we could walk into the city (its a long walk when its very hot out) but can also easily take a cab or public transit."
