10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great, the pool was lovely with a great view, especially in the summertime heat. The breakfast was good, the property kept very clean. The staff has excellent service. The location is great because you’re far enough from the noise but just a block away from Gran Vía. I will definitely stay here with my family’s next visit to Madrid."

Barceló Torre de Madrid

Barceló Torre de Madrid

10/10 Excellent
"I thoroughly recommend Barcelo Torre Madrid. My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 730AM after almost 18 hours of travel from Canada. We were exhausted and jet lagged. The staff at this hotel are some of the warmest, most helpful and kind staff I have ever encountered anywhere. They held onto our luggage and we purchased their breakfast buffet. They also worked to ensure we would get a room as quickly as possible. The breakfast buffet is AMAZING! Do not miss it. We were only at this hotel for one night, but it was the start of our trip and I can’t thank the Barcelo Torre team for making us at home. After their breakfast and their king bed, we felt ready for our trip and in a great mood — and not jet lagged! Special thank you to Lucia, Andrea, Chris in the breakfast room, Maria and Sonia for making it special. Hasta luego!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Madrid

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Madrid is during January, February, and August, when hotel prices are typically lower. For those looking to make the most of their trip, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is ideal to fully explore the city's rich history and culture. During your budget-friendly visit, you can immerse yourself in the stunning architecture, visit renowned museums, and enjoy the vibrant theatre scene, all while discovering charming cafes and bustling shopping districts. With careful planning, your experience can be great value for money as you uncover the city's key monuments and cultural attractions.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Madrid, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel options close to your travel date. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, increasing your chances of saving. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best options. With these resources, you'll be among the first to know about any available rooms or price drops for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a hotel in Madrid. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems high, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more economical option.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Madrid's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those eager to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.

During this peak period, the weather is sunny to mostly sunny, with little to no rainfall. However, if you prefer a more relaxed experience, June, August, and December are perfect for a quieter getaway, marked by no rainfall and sunny to mostly sunny conditions.
