Dorado Gold Bogotá hotel will not follow their own policies. I booked by error, and contacted Hotels.com for refund of 50% as per the property policy as shown in Hotels.com. They contacted the property and denied the refund unilaterally, “as their discretion”, stating a different policy than the one Hotels.com currently advertise in their property website (see picture attached). That is shady to say the least.
Expedia was the first company I ever used for reservations back in the 90s/early 2000s. What really hurt me was that Hotels.com did not owned to their words. I assume now that as a customer, I’m not their priority, and they won’t protect me. As a frequent constant traveler, I have choices. I will have to take my business somewhere else.
