No frills basic hotel. The room was clean except for the carpet. It needs to be cleaned it would make your bare feet a little dirty. Toilet seat was cracked, which would pinch your butt. The crankout window would not close all the way, letting in a little outside noise. Other than that I have no complaints. Sheets and comforter were very clean. They did however give me a room with a King size bed when I requested a room with twin beds. Still, not a bid deal. i would stay there again.

Pros: - Clean room for a decent price - Comfortable bed - Great Chinese food all around the hotel Cons: - Only a tiny bedside table in the room, so there is no place to put stuff aside from the floor - Lots of hallway noise late at night (bring earplugs) - Window A/C unit was loud

It's a good hotel when you want to go about your business. It serves its purpose if you're visiting for a short stay and it's in a convenient location. I felt safe, everyone just minds their business but there if you need help. Everything about the stay was simple, check in/check out, requesting towels, and the room itself. The shower water pressure was HIGH and like you were on a water ride but it did it'] s job. Thank you "Canal Loft Hotel" for having us!

Location is in what feels like a bad area but the people are really nice and keep to themselves. The people at the bodega across the street and at the bar were so so kind! The staff at the hotel were nice ! The hotel itself —- STUNK SO BAD. From the lobby to the hallways and elevator. The rooms not so much tho which is good! Air conditioner worked and was kept the room cold! Beds are comfortable but girl this is low budget… my comforter had stains and a cigarette burn. Walls are scratched and I had a BROKEN toilet seat….. and I had no soap for three days and had to use my own. The floors and room just felt dirty. Bathtub was stained almost black … it’s suppose to be white. I liked that it was near a station but I would rather save enough money and go somewhere else. I think they have a lot of potential for this hotel but man…. I was disappointed BIG TIME. Ps we are students with minimal cash so if that gives u context! I would say NO for families..

This location was decent. The only trouble I had was that my refrigerator in my room did not work. The expectation of having to pay $40 when I got there was accurate, but the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, the bed was fresh and comfy, and the TV in the room worked for streaming. The bathroom was small, but had all the necessary amenities. The air conditioning worked, no huge complaints.

They over booked and we lost our room with 2 beds we had to settle with a single bed room. They comp'd us the $15 fee which was nice. Also no toilet paper or amenities in the room needed to request these. Room had good AC, clean and a working tv. So not too bad

Good location, reasonable price. Room cleaned with bed linens and towels changed every two days. There was no hand soap, the lighting was poor, there were no luggage racks for our suitcases. There is a food transfer business next door that operates in the street below the north windows that is very noisy. There are sirens from the Fire Dragons unit of the fire department on the next block.
