Seafront and safe choice
Clean and convenient hotel with beautiful location, nice dining facilities and very helpful staff. Room was quiet dark and had a bit of a smell, but that’s to be expected in an older building. We arrived in last half hour of breakfast (9 am) service and most was not replenished as seemed to cater to early rising coach trips Was nice sitting out in the garden pod for drinks by the harbour

Good stay but outdated
Godd location but a) Restricted timings to swimming - THIS IS NOT ADVERTISED . Neither did the receptionist care much when i questioned her. b) Steam room is really ourdated and hygienically needs to be imptoved. c) Bedroom not easily accessible. No lifts to each floor . Reached my room only by staircase ( it would not help disabled or injured person ) . Please ensure to ask questions or be informed in advance before booking . d) WIndows in bathroom could nt be opened by staff . Waited 48 hours and several reminders before they got someone. e) No telephobne system in bedrooms - so had to go walk down to reception everytime . Historic nostalgia ! f) Overall staff shortages .
