Worming: don’t go there
I regret I chose this hotel the minute I entered the reception lobby, but my feeling got much worst when I entered the room. It is a terrible hotel! The room was obsolete with walls were covered with peeling wallpapers, which were painted over. The room has a very bed smell, the lighting is depressing with cheap florescent light to save electricity, it was cold (9 degrees outside), but the heating did not work (they told me they hadn’t yet turned the heating on in the building because it is not cold enough…). The bathroom was old, with mould, and the toilet were constantly leaking waster and made noises. That was a nightmare. I could not sleep at night because of the cold and the toilet noise. The only happy moment I had was when I was checking out.

Great place to stay!
This was such a nice, clean, and spacious hotel room. It was a great place to spend the night in Montreal. Out of the 3 places I stayed in town, this was by far the best. It was so close to the Metro and restaurants. I have no complaints. I would stay here if I go to Montreal again.

Deceptive lobby!!!
Lobby is beautiful, reps dress in suits and give the impression of a nice, renovated boutique hotel. Beware!! The lobby is where the beauty ends. Rest of the hotel shows its age! Rundown, old carpet/paint and dank smell in room. Left immediately after check in due to family not feeling comfortable or safe. Michael, the desk rep, was extremely nice and professional. He apologized that the room wasn't to our satisfaction.
