Great selection of restaurants and wineries. Definitely quite touristy (you can tell by the amount of galleries), but its a very quaint, clean and beautiful little town and also felt very safe.

It is a quaint town with many dining options, and close to the wine tram. If you are a shopper, there are many types of stores and art galleries.

An amazing place to visit and a must for any length of stay when visiting the Cape area. We always visit, even when the primary purpose of our trip this year is a safari at the other end of the country in Limpopo!

This town is unbelievably charming. Everything is walkable, but if you don't fancy walking, the Uber service is second to none. There is plenty of dining options from fine dining to a casual pub visit. Booking is recommended in high season.

A quiet and cute town. Interesting architecture and brilliant dining options
"The property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast. "
"All the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. But you can also add eggs Benedict, omelette, shashuska, French toast— all included!
We were in the winter but I can see how nice it’d be to enjoy their pool and gardens in the summer. Highly recommend. "
"The villa was amazing - awesome views from the patio. It had everything you needed for that stay away from home. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Franshhoek town centre along a well marked path but Ubers were also plentiful. Esme and the Team really make you feel welcome - I'd definitely stay again."
