Stellenbosch Introduction

Stellenbosch is part of the Cape Winelands, South Africa's wine-producing region. Located just an hour's drive away from Cape Town, Stellenbosch is considered to be the oldest and most famous community in the Winelands. The town is also thought to be one of the most picturesque towns in Western Cape, thanks to the breathtaking sight of mountains towering over vibrantly coloured vineyards and orchards. Stellenbosch is also the home of Stellenbosch Conservatory, the oldest music school in South Africa.

Hotels in Stellenbosch

Hotels in Stellenbosch are varied in the ambiance and types of service they provide. Clustered within the town centre are boutique hotels, B&Bs and guest lodges. Many of them have luxuriously appointed rooms. Their amenities usually include restaurants and bars, along with wellness facilities such as outdoor pools and fitness centres. Also located within the town's centre are self-catering holiday apartments. They're completely furnished and typically offer well-equipped kitchens. Outside the town centre are guesthouses run by vintners right within their own wine estates. A manorial guesthouse is a sumptuous accommodation option that gives you access to the estate's vineyards and wine cellars.
