Perfect Short Stay
Highly recommended hotel in central HK. Park Inn is my go-to hotel in Hong Kong. The pricing is fantastic for the location and like all HK hotels it's a small room. Clean, hospitable and excellent - cannot fault this hotel and the staff go out of their way to ensure you're comfortable.

Worth Every Dollar!!!
I was nervous and excited about my solo trip to Hong Kong but I agree with the good reviews given to Park Inn! Well-deserved!
Cons:
1. I was confused at first at what landmark or what the building looked like. You have to look for Chungking Mansions that’s right in front of the Pedestrian Crossing along Nathan Road. The building looks chic in the exterior which would be great if the photo was included in the guide. The area around the entrance is just crowded with people. Just say Park Inn and go directly to the elevators to your left.
2. The elevator takes you to 15flr then you have to check in at Room A9 first. There wasn’t a instruction for this but there was a kind staff around to tell me. : )
Pros:
1. The staff there were very accommodating despite me arriving around 12:30 (check-in was 1pm!). Multilingual staff too! Super kind from start to end!
2. The room fits one and is really made for travellers on the go. Comfy bed and clean sheets, the private bathroom was okay too. They had good supply of hot water which was a big plus!
3. If you love shopping and want convenience of stay, I recommend staying here. Train station entrance is 2mins away and Victoria harbour view is a 5 minute walk. Lots of things to do in walking distance.
4. You can rest well with the security locks of the inn.
5. Price is well worth it! And you save on transportation costs too because you’re near bus stations and the main MTR lines!
Thank you for making my HK trip memorable!

Cheap, but tiny rooms, with long queues for lift
The room was very small approx 70 sq. foot rather than the advertised 100sq. Ft.. The size and height of bed gave storage space under, otherwise no space.
No safe or desk as advertised. Communal kitchen? Where.
There was a tv, but without a remote, on manual controls pictures very poor, and only a few channels.
One plus was a ceiling fan, although noisy.
Front desk is in one of the other 'hotels' on the floor.
Main problems were access... Lift queues could mean anything up to 30 minute wait to get up or down from the 15th floor. Park Inn is one of 5 cheap 'hotels' on the same floor, all run by same person, with many other 'hotels' on the other floors. Chungking Mansions has a rather dubious reputation for various reasons, but is still a reasonable budget place to stay

Staff are pleasant and friendly. Cleanliness is superior.
The air con is poor. It always feels too hot, often stuffy, and they even have a sign saying do not turn it below 25 degrees!
The tv channel selection is poor, and tv reception is also poor.

Great location and that’s about it
Arriving was confusing as the taxi took us to a place Chungking Mansions with no sign of Park Inn in sight. As it happens Chungking Mansions is a market and guest houses all in one massive building. The location is excellent - close to the subway, park, the skyline/light show is a 5minute walk down the road. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were very smiley and as you walked into the corridor it always smelled of fresh linen. Nothing else positive can be said about the place. Our room was beyond tiny. about 1 metre square standing space which meant if 1 of us wanted to do anything that required standing the other had to wait on the bed. Speaking of the bed, it was so uncomfortable. Never have I experienced dead arms but I did sleeping in this bed and felt like I had to keep turning over to give each hip a break! The ‘bathroom’ was actually a shower cubicle with a toilet and sink crammed in. The shower was over the toilet and with the semi translucent sliding shower doors privacy was hard to come by might as well just have the toilet in the room with no doors. One lift was broken so always a queue for the lift. On Friday night we waited 20mins in the lift queue and on Saturday at 12.30am we waited 40 MINUTES in a queue of about 100 people. The only stairs we found came out into a shopping mall next door but at this time of night it was closed so we had no other option than to wait in the queue.Never felt unsafe but some questionable characters loitering in the entrance.

This may not be a fair time
One of two elevators was out of service and may be for a bit yet,
So long lines formed to access the 15th floor location, adding considerable time to get to and from the place.
For the price one should expect to get simple accommodation and one does.
It was clean, the staff were friendly, the location is central in Kowloon, , and it would be ok for short stays and low budget travellers

Fantastic location and very cheap
Fantastic location and very cheap and you get a bit more than what you pay for. If you're after a short stay this hotel is very conveniently located, clean and very cheap. It's not pretty and the bathroom is average and the room was tiny, but if you just want to sleep in your room and dump your bag to explore HK then its perfect.

Good location
Location was perfect. Only downfall was the elevator situation. There are only two elevators that are the only entry point for all the gueshouses in the building. At times it took up to 30 minutes to get to our room due to the line. Also, it was a bit hard to locate the guesthouse at first however; other than that, it was a good stay for the price.

Small room but effective
Room was small but adequate for one person.
Staff very friendly and hotel right in the middle of all the action.
Private washroom but extremely small. Washroom doubles as a shower which can get quite wet.
Bed sheets changed every two days and room cleaned daily.
Overall pretty great taking in consideration the price and the fact that it is in Hong Kong.

excellent location
for the money excellent value. comfy mattress, hairdryer, air con, electric fan, powerful shower. cleaned and bedding changed, free hot beverages, free shampoo and body wash, tv, 5 mins walk from Victoria Harbour and 1 min from train station. This room is for sleeping only as it is very small but do-able.
However, the building in which this and many other hotels are located, you have to run the gauntlet with the Indians and Africans trying to sell you everything. Unusual to be hassled like this in Hong Kong. But once you get over the initial intimidation its ok. There are also security guards for the whole building

Switched room on first day to another location
I booked Park Inn and when I arrived, I was told no room at Park Inn and was ushered to a 1 star accommodation located at the next tower block. The inn had another name some co-operative hotel. The room was dirty and toilet smelly. A dead cockroach was spotted on the floor outside. I was told I could stay at Park Inn. The Park Inn Room was much better. The ratings given was because of this change of room. I felt cheated.

Good location and good value
For £35 and a very short stopover it was great value for money. Good location right next to Tsim Sha Tsui metro station. Easy link to the airport. Right in the middle of town for shopping, restaurants and only a short walk to the harbour. Knutsford Terrace was only 10 minute walk, very buzzy place for dinner and drinks if you can find it!
Locating the hotel was the hardest part. It's inside Chungking Mansions and only 1 lift serving 15 floors. Nobody to greet us initially, no obvious front desk, but once in the room it was exactly what we thought. Beds were ok, aircon was excellent, pillows very good. Shower/toilet was a wet room but they provide flip flops to keep your feet dry.
Lots of water provided for free and a fridge to store stuff. Overall great value hotel.

This place is almost imposable to find.
I was walking around the building which has this hotel - few rooms on 15th flow - for an hour. No signs or directions at all. You must enter building / shopping area and look for signs close to elevator.

Tiniest hotel room I've been in. For almost aud$100 i expected more but this is what hong kong is. If you can afford it - pay a little more and get more space. Tiny tiny tiny. But outside the hotel is an amazing atmosphere. I'd book here again!
