Worst Fairmont experience!
This was the worst stay at a Fairmont property. The shower was scalding hot as the mixer was not working. The AC fan blower kept on incessantly making noise the 4 hours we had available to sleep. There was a Jack hammer being operated at night somewhere in the building and you could hear the racket in the room. The bathroom vanity was missing a fixture. The shower drain was also clogged. The room was poorly maintained as well.

Need to improve the services to the Fairmont level
The room was good with great view of the holy mosque. Lifts are so many yet slow and confusing for new guests. Could not get to staff at reception between 12:00 am till 10:00 am even when tried through the operator!!! Food service at restaurants very slow (took more than half an hour) although there were no other guests at the time of order. It felt like the month of Ramadan took the management by surprise because the hotel was not ready at the first night of fasting month

Traveled with my parents and while this wasn't our first time staying here, it certainly wasn't the same great experience we had last time 4 years ago. Our room's AC and fridge did not work, toilet was dirty with feces on the side of it, and there wasn't enough towels for the three of us (room was specifically for 3 people with 3 beds). While engineering came to help with the AC and fridge, it was taking too long to get the AC to work. So I had to request another room. Wasted almost 2 hours doing all this, b/c then I had to pack everything and go to another room. I appreciate they provided another room for us. Breakfast was good, but just okay compared to other hotels in the area. Manager on duty on the day we checked out (I think her name was Rana or Dana...So sorry I forgot), was outstanding and so kind! If it wasn't for her, we probably wouldn't have liked our stay as much. So special thanks to her.
