The hotel has a great location, which made it very convenient for exploring New York. However, there was a long line at check-in, and we had to wait. The elevators were also quite busy, and we often had to wait in line to use them. On the positive side, we really appreciated the complimentary cookies and water available from the reception every morning. Our room was cleaned every day, and we would like to thank the housekeeping team for their good service. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Check in took over an hour and had we been notified about the AC not working in any of the rooms we would’ve never checked in and looked for another hotel. The staff were great! Staff was very friendly, hotel was beautiful. I did have to get my rooms switched due to not having AC, was quickly accommodated on the room switch. Although, we couldn’t get a new room until later that night. Once we got our new room, sadly there were still issues with the room. Lights not working, shower never fully heated up. Small things! The worst thing I truly believe is the elevators! My goodness, they were so so slow, took 5-10 minutes just to catch the elevator to go down to the lobby. Truly is a good spot for a hotel, close to good restaurants and touristy spots.

Room was very clean. Quite small but i expected that. Rooftop Bar was never open the whole time, 5 days. Def not happy with the AC. It was set at 68 the whole time and our room never got below 78 which was tough. Maybe that’s typical with NYC budget hotels?? Overall good place on a budget but be careful in summer if AC is important to you. Also alerted the front desk of our AC not working and they said they’d fix it but nothing had changed. Staff was very nice. Elevators were quite slow so expect to wait awhile
