This is a pretty hotel. We visited in low season and it was very quiet, but it was a good starting point for a number of activities in and outside of Merida. The staff were very kind and made us a packed lunch to take on our various excursions and travel to the next destination.

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful; and the breakfast from Chef Luis is excellent. The hotel is located equidistant between Parque Santa Lucia and the Plaza Grande where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. My husband and I stayed here for a week, it was peaceful, quiet, very attentive staff, and beautiful environment. The last night of our stay hurricane Milton was on the way, the city shut down and all stores and businesses were closed. The staff upgraded our room to be closer to reception and supplies in the event of an emergency. The next morning they opened up their kitchen to give us a wonderful breakfast and coffee, when we would have otherwise been out of luck as everything in town was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Merida.

They even offered us a room upgrade at no additonal cost, but we reluctantly declined to have a room right next to the deliciously clean and refreshing pool. The restaurarant was excellent, room and lobby decor was well appointed, and desk staff assisted us with restaurant suggestions and reservations.

Luxury Hotel, Quiet, Good location
Comfortable small hotel. Great service, best restaurant in town, quiet, good beds and pillows. Air conditioning. A 10 minute walk from Plaza Grande, which we walked to at least once a day. The room that we had (the suite, which is just a large room) had some light coming through the black out shade (maybe they will fix this soon.) Nice pool area. I would definitely stay there again.
