Bodega Sur at Luna Azul
we stayed in a small studio with an outdoor sitting area. It was more than what was advertised. We were very happy with the stay, the location and the staff. We would highly recommend.

We had a nice week here. The only real down side is this unit faces a patio but there are only 2 small windows so it is a little claustrophobic. The kitchen area is good and we had our meals on the patio. Shopping was walking distance and there are little cart shuttles if you wanted a ride back. All in all we had a great week. Marci and Alex were very helpful for private tour guides and taxi to airport.

Absolutely LOVE it. It's fully functional and comfy... We stayed here in 2017 and it hasn't changed a bit...it's perfect. We are budget travelers and this is just such a cute, clean and well situated place... will be back for sure.

Bodega Sur great hideaway spot
Bodega Sur was exactly as advertised - steps from the beach and a short walk from restaurants and shops. The only unfortunate thing during our stay was the sargasso. It was 4 or 5 feet high on the beachfront and the decomposing smell was quite strong. However, you can walk about a quarter mile up the beach to get into the water and snorkel. The property managers had a crew trying to clear the beach in front, but it seemed difficult to stay ahead of Mother Nature. Fortunately, other nearby beaches weren’t as affected and we enjoyed our stay in Akumal.

Perfect little slice of paradise
Reina’s property has everything you’re looking for in Akumal...location, friendly staff, cleanliness and amenities. Though the wifi is spotty and the bed is overly firm, these issues are standard in this little gem location. The reasons folks come here are the beauty, tranquility and welcoming atmosphere of th Yucatán. I would definitely stay in Reina’s property again. Muchos gracias!
