4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Singapore

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly times to visit Singapore are in March, May, and June, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the city's iconic landmarks, rich history, and vibrant culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is advisable. During this period, visitors can take in the stunning marina views, stroll through the beautiful gardens, enjoy shopping experiences, and immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of Chinatown. Additionally, the city's impressive skyscrapers, picturesque scenery, significant monuments, and informative museums offer great value for money for those on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Singapore, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. To stay updated on potential flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. Additionally, utilise Smart Shopping , a comparison tool available via the app, to help you compare hotel prices and amenities. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to see the best options for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Singapore. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, helping you to explore your options.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Singapore's superb public transport system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those eager to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even some lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
